Mainland Academy of Performing Arts is a private ballet school and training centre, located in North Vancouver, Canada. Launched in 2005 we have a proud tradition of artistic excellence. Our students are tomorrow's dancers and arts supporters. With an emphasis on ballet as an art form and artistic excellence, Mainland Academy is known for its outstanding student body and skilled staff.

Our Professional Division is geared toward dancers pursuing a career in dance or related arts, students interested in learning ballet at a higher level, and are admitted by audition. Our General Division is open to all students. Our focus lies with the growth of our students, both technically and artistically, within the classroom.We offer a stimulating learning environment to all students.

The Mainland Academy staff believes that its primary purpose is to educate each student to the highest possible level of artistic achievement by providing an appropriate curriculum in a safe, healthy learning environment. We are committed to helping students grow emotionally and develop social skills. We believe in creating an environment that encourages learning and social growth through character building and high expectations. Our faculty's experience in professional theatre provides students with a direct resource of knowledge and skills, applicable to professional standards in the industry. Mainland Academy operates out of the same studio location as professional ballet company Ballet de Printemps, allowing students additional opportunities to learn directly from successful professionals.
